Placing Bookings on Hold

You have the ability to put bookings on hold, this may be because you haven't been able to get hold of your guest or you may be waiting on them for something such as a payment or maybe they are getting back to you. A booking marked as on hold will remain on hold until further notice or if you have entered an 'On Hold Until' date the booking will be automatically cancelled on this date unless taken off hold.

This is different to a Booking Offer which would be taken off hold once the guest has accepted and made a payment towards their booking.

To put a booking on hold login to your admin and go to Bookings and Select a Booking. Within here you will need to go the Details/Edit section and you will see an On Hold checkbox. Once you have ticked this you have the ability to enter a date. Don't forget to click Update at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

If you were to accidentally leave an On Hold date in and your booking gets cancelled by the system you so have the ability to rebook. Take a look at our help article on rebooking a stay here.
