Updating Your Homepage: Royal Theme
There are various different sections on the homepage which you have the ability to change from your SCRUMPY admin. This varies from theme to theme but this help article is specifically about updating a homepage using the 'Royal' Theme. If you are unsure which theme your website is using scroll down to the very bottom of the homepage and it will say within the footer. Homepage
The header at the very top of your homepage is made up of your logo and menu items.
Adding or changing your logo:
To upload a logo go to Site Settings > Logo > Choose File and then select the image from your computer. Once you have done this don't forget to click Update Site Settings to save it.
Menu Items:
You have the ability to Add, Remove or Amend menu items dependant on where you would like to direct guests to. The menu will display on every page of the website. You can see our help article on Menu Management here: https://help.scrumpy.co.uk/article/140-menu-management
Images
Banner:
For this theme the homepage uses the Site Banners which are also used on content pages throughout the website. You can upload multiple banner images and the website will scroll through them in a random order. Homepage Images:
To amend the three images across the centre of the homepage you will need to go to Site Settings > Theme > Customise Theme. These are called left, middle and right image. To upload a photo click Choose File and select the image from your computer. Once you have added the images click Update Theme at the bottom of the page.
Content Areas
The headings on the homepage are edited within the theme settings. Go to Site Settings > Theme > Customise Theme. The main heading beneath the banner image is called 'Homepage Heading'. The headings that sit above the images are called 'Homepage Heading Left', 'Homepage Heading Middle' and 'Homepage Heading Right'. Once you have updated these click Update Theme.
To update the rest of the content on the homepage go to Site Content > Homepage. The main piece of content below the banners is called 'Top'. The three content areas below the images are called 'Left', 'Middle' and 'Right'
Footer:
The Footer is part of the theme and the only things that can be changed are the contact details specific to you ie phone number and email address.
Theme Settings:
