iCal Integration With Third Party Websites

Our iCal Integration allows you to export your properties availability to other websites and even your mobile phone!

Time is Money

At Scrumpy we understand just how hard it is for property owners to manage keeping all their various channel calendars up to date. Scrumpy natively produces an iCal link for each property calendar as standard. iCal Integration helps to reduce the amount of time needed to keep your external listing availability up to date.

How to use iCal Integration with External Sites

At Scrumpy we currently support calendar synchronisation with anyone who accepts iCal files (AirBnB, Flipkey, Tripadvisor and the HomeAway group), along with dedicated syncing with Sleeps12.com, Super Control, Premier Cottages and of course any other Scrumpy powered site via the property sharing feature.

  1. Go to the 'Properties' part of the admin, click the Property you wish to fetch the iCal feed for.
  2. Navigate to the 'Prices & Availability' section
  3. Scroll right to the bottom, there you'll find the iCal Feed URL for you to Copy + Paste into the site you're integrating with

If you have specific questions about integration with a particular external site just let us know and we'll be happy to help.

If you use your SCRUMPY website as the master calendar, it will then push out all unavailable dates to any listings it is connected to via Ical. It cannot unfortunately pull in bookings from sites automatically, and you will have to manually enter bookings from elsewhere.

How to use iCal Integration with Calendar on a Mac

You can quickly get an overview of your upcoming bookings and their status by adding your iCal Feed as a 'Calendar Subscription'.

  1. Go to the 'Properties' part of the admin, click the Property you wish to fetch the iCal feed for.
  2. Navigate to the 'Prices & Availability' section
  3. Scroll right to the bottom, there you'll find the iCal Feed URL, select this and Copy it
  4. Open 'Calendar' on your Mac, you can find it in the 'Applications' folder
  5. In the toolbar at the top of the screen click 'File', then click 'New Calendar Subscription'
  6. Paste the iCal Feed URL into the 'Calendar URL:' field and press 'Subscribe'
  7. Give the Subscription a name, such as the name of the Property
  8. Change the 'Auto-Refresh' to 'Every 15 Minutes' and then press 'Ok' to save the subscription
  9. Done! You should now see your bookings showing up on your Calendar

You should be able to follow the above instructions in most Calendar clients on Windows, iOS and Android too.
