Wales Coronavirus Update November 2020

This information is specific to wales, for England Scotland or Ireland advice please visit the relevant Gov website.

As of the 9th of November the Firebreak lockdown in Wales ended and was replaced with a new set of national measures to take the place of the previous restrictions. Of these new measures we have pulled out the information relevant to holiday property owners.

All accommodation can now open in Wales however there are various restrictions in place in regards to travel and who you can stay with in a holiday property.

Can I stay in a holiday property in Wales if I do not live in Wales?

Travel in to Wales is currently not allowed without a reasonable excuse so the simple answer is no. A reasonable excuse would include travelling for work purposes and would not include visiting family and friends (other than part of an extended household).

Can I stay in a holiday property in Wales if I live in Wales?

Yes, you are allowed to go on holiday in Wales if you live there however you are not permitted to leave Wales for a holiday whether that is in the UK or abroad.

Who can I stay with in holiday accommodation?
