Offline Payment Notifications

Unlike online payments (which are automatically updated via your website) offline payments are initially deemed as pending, as they need to be checked before they can be logged as received on the system.

Offline Payments

If a guest opts to pay via the Offline/Other option at the payment screen, they have to tick a "I have sent a payment for the amount above" before they can click the "Send Notification" button to submit their payment.

The Offline Payment Notification 

When a guest makes an Offline Payment you will receive a notification informing you that they have followed your Offline/Other instructions. These would typically include your bank details and advise which account and sort code they should send a bank transfer to.

Confirming an Offline Payment

You can either click the View Transactions button within the notification email to see the pending payment, or navigate to the Offline Payment section of your Bookings screen.

Once you are looking at the Booking that has the pending payment, you'll notice a blue banner at the top of the page - clicking the View Transactions link will take you to the next page.

Finally, you'll need to click Confirm against the pending transaction to update the booking and let the system know that you have received the payment.
