Nature of Stay

The Nature of Stay feature allows you to gain better insight as to the purpose of a guests visit. This field appears at the checkout and simply asks why they are booking.

Find out why they're staying creates a dialogue between yourself and the guest, whilst also presenting an opportunity for you to better tailor their stay.

Turning on Nature of Stay

You can configure the settings for your website by going to:
Site Settings > Settings > Nature of Stay Enabled

The Nature of Stay feature can be configured to the following settings:

• Required - All guests have to complete as part of the booking form.
• Optional - It is displayed at the checkout but is not mandatory.
• Off - The field will not be displayed at the checkout

By default it is set to optional on all sites, allowing guests to elaborate if they so wish.

Viewing a Bookings Nature of Stay

If a guest has provided their nature of stay it will appear on the main overview page of a Booking via your admin.

If you need to retrospectively add in a Bookings Nature of Stay, you can do so by navigating to the Details/Edit section of the Booking
