Booking Deposit

A booking deposit is a compulsory payment that needs to be made towards a booking for it to be considered booked. Within SCRUMPY you can choose whether a booking deposit is required at a property level. To configure this you will need to login to your admin and click on 'Properties' in the left hand menu and select your property. You will then need to click 'Edit' below the property image and click on the 'Billing' tab.

Within here you can select the box to require a booking deposit at your property and choose the percentage you require. Given a booking value of £1000 and a deposit percentage of 10% the user will be required to pay a deposit of £100 to confirm their booking, leaving them with £900 to pay before their 'final payment due date'.

Don't forget to click 'Update Property' once you have added this, and be mindful that any changes you make will only affect future bookings.
