Updating Your Homepage: Bramley Theme
There are various different sections on the homepage which you have the ability to change from your SCRUMPY admin. This varies from theme to theme but this help article is specifically about updating a homepage using the 'Collage' Theme. If you are unsure which theme your website is using scroll down to the very bottom of the homepage and it will say within the footer. Header
The header at the very top of your homepage is made up of your logo and menu items.
Adding or changing your logo:
To upload a logo go to Site Settings > Logo > Choose File and then select the image from your computer. Once you have done this don't forget to click Update Site Settings to save it.
Menu Items:
You have the ability to Add, Remove or Amend menu items dependant on where you would like to direct guests to. The menu will display on every page of the website. You can see our help article on Menu Management here: https://help.scrumpy.co.uk/article/140-menu-management
Images
Banners
For this theme the homepage uses the Site Banners which are also used on content pages throughout the website. You can upload multiple banner images and the website will scroll through them in a random order. Homepage Images
Within this theme you can select 4 images to appear on the homepage in addition to the banner. There are three across the middle of the page and then one with the content below. I would suggest choosing images that are relevant to the content and headings that you have surrounding them.
To change these images you will need to go to Site Settings > Theme > Customise Theme.
The 3 images across the centre of the homepage are called left, middle and right and the Image at the bottom on the content area is Homepage Main Image. To change these click Choose File and select the image from your computer.
Once you are finished adding images don't forget to click Update Theme at the bottom of the page.
Content Areas
Banner Text
You can amend the content on the banner image within Site Settings > Theme > Customise Theme. These are titled 'Homepage Title' and 'Homepage Subtitle'. Once you have completed this click Update Theme.
Homepage Content
To edit the rest of the content on the homepage you will need to go to Site Content > Homepage. The three columns below the banner are called 'Top Left', 'Top Centre' and 'Top Right'. You then have 'Left of homepage' which is the left hand side section below the main images and 'Right of homepage' which is to the right of the image.
Footer:
The Footer is part of the theme and the only things that can be changed are the contact details specific to you ie phone number and email address.
Theme Settings:
