Updating Your Homepage: Collage Theme
There are various different sections on the homepage which you have the ability to change from your SCRUMPY admin. This varies from theme to theme but this help article is specifically about updating a homepage using the 'Collage' Theme. If you are unsure which theme your website is using scroll down to the very bottom of the homepage and it will say within the footer. Header
The header at the very top of your homepage is made up of your logo and menu items.
Adding or changing your logo:
To upload a logo go to Site Settings > Logo > Choose File and then select the image from your computer. Once you have done this don't forget to click Update Site Settings to save it.
Menu Items:
You have the ability to Add, Remove or Amend menu items dependant on where you would like to direct guests to. The menu will display on every page of the website. You can see our help article on Menu Management here: https://help.scrumpy.co.uk/article/140-menu-management
Images
Within this theme you have the ability to add three images. To add or amend the images you will need to go to Site Settings > Theme > Customise Theme. The large image is called 'Homepage Left' and then the two in the right hand column are called 'Homepage Middle' and 'Homepage right'.
To add an image click Choose File and select the image you would like to use from your computer. Once you have done this remember to click Update Theme.
Content Areas
The headings on your home page can all be changed within the theme settings. You will again need to go to Site Settings > Theme > Customise Theme. The text in the coloured box within the collage is called 'Homepage Heading'. The two headings below the images are called 'Homepage Heading Left' and 'Homepage Heading Right'. Once you have amended these don't forget to click Update Theme.
The amend the content below the headings you will need to go to Site Content > Homepage and these are called 'Bottom Left of Homepage' and 'Bottom Right of Homepage'. Within here you always have the ability to add links and buttons. Please let us know if you would like assistance with this.
Footer:
The Footer is part of the theme and the only things that can be changed are the contact details specific to you ie phone number and email address.
Theme Settings:
